tutoring options
I offer in person tutoring services. I can tutor at your home, at a library or anyplace you feel comfortable. For in person, I charge $55/hour. I can tutor for 1/2 hour, and hour or longer depending on your child’s needs. We can also discuss how many days a week you prefer. I tutor M-F and some appointments on the weekend.
I also offer tutoring services on Zoom. I can tutor for 1/2 hour, and hour or longer depending on your child’s needs. For online tutoring, I charge $50/hour. We can also discuss how many days a week you prefer. I tutor M-F and some appointments on the weekend.
Who
I am
I was an elementary teacher for 20 years. During those 20 years I taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade and sixth grade. I taught reading, writing, grammar, phonics, math, science and social studies. I am now tutoring, as well as being a substitute teacher. I love tutoring one on one or in small groups and helping a child feel more confident. I will always discuss with the parent what is needed and what the child needs from me to succeed, as well as speaking to the child. I will bring my own materials or if homework help is what is needed we can do homework or projects that the school is assigning. I will help with homework, projects, reading skills, writing skills, math skills and testing skills. I love teaching children and seeing a child become more confident.
